In the Courtyard is an open and inclusive venture that welcomes all those engaged in an open-hearted search for meaning. We assume that no one has a monopoly on truth, and that everyone encountered on the path has gained insight into the human condition. We believe that all of us carry wisdom, and we expect to meet with wisdom on the path.

Because making community is an intrinsic part of making meaning, we encourage full participation in all program offerings.

So that the full benefit of the program is available to each participant, enrollment in many of our offerings is limited. Please register early to reserve your place.

What is your payment, cancellation, and refund policy?

Registration for any program is not complete until we have received full payment of the program fee.

Please consider carefully before registering. Cancellations of enrollment must be made by phone with staff. Please contact us.

Cancellations made up to one week prior to the event or start of an online class will receive a refund less $25 processing fee. Or, you may transfer to your registration to a later program of comparable value for a $15 processing fee.

Within a week of the start of any in-person retreat or online class, we are unable to offer refunds or transfers.

I’m coming from out of town to attend one of your programs. Where should I stay in Port Townsend?

With year-round arts, maritime, and cultural festivals, Port Townsend supports a variety of lodging and accommodations, from basic campgrounds to luxurious bed-and-breakfasts. You’ll find a wide range of choices at PTGuide, or feel free to contact us for recommendations.

If you are enrolled in a full weekend or extended residential program, recommendations about accommodations will be included in the program description and materials.
