Labyrinth Paths

Life is a labyrinth path. Each moment—this moment—holds a threshold, a chance to step forward into new worlds.

The path spirals in and out. At times I feel close to the center. Other times I circle the far reaches of the wilderness. Then the path turns, and the center draws near again.

Every once in a while, I find myself standing right smack dab in the center—grounded, whole, exactly where I belong. How did I get here? How can I find my way back?

Paying attention along the way helps. So does sharing stories, landmarks, and signposts with my fellow travelers.

Finally, it helps to approach each moment—this moment—with a heart open to the wisdom it holds, ready to step forward across the threshold once again.

“The path is made by walking.”
