We have all had the experience of being a newcomer to community at one time or another, wondering if there’s a place for us in the circle. And we have all had the experience of being an established member of a group, wondering how to make room for the stranger in our midst.

On this day of rest, quiet reflection, and community, we will share our stories and wisdom about the steps that newcomers and longtime group members take as they cross over into community. To aid in reflection, a spiral rope labyrinth will be laid in Grace’s outdoor courtyard for walking. After lunch together, our day closes with brief prayerful worship.

Note: Margaret’s books will be available for purchase and signing. A portion of the proceeds will go toward Grace’s “Shoes for Children” ministry in Jefferson County, a fund for shoes for children in Jefferson County.
